INDIANA NON-PUBLIC ADMINISTRATORS’ CONFERENCE
Rooted in a Legacy of Leading: INPEA Celebrates 50 Years
INPAC is the only conference designed specifically for Indiana non-public school leaders. Our conference theme, “Rooted in a Legacy of Leading,” speaks to the foundation and history of our member schools and to the celebration of INPEA’s 50th anniversary that will kick off at INPAC 2024. You won’t want to miss it!
There are so many outstanding sessions that you will want to bring a team with you! We have built a program featuring dynamic speakers in topics related to four learning strands:

- Leadership of Learning
- Organizational Leadership
- Workforce Development
The AI and Educational Technology Pre-Conference begins Thursday, September 26 at 8:30 a.m. This pre-conference is included in the cost of a two-day registration or can be purchased as a stand-alone item. Breakout sessions will be offered on topics including, but not limited to, managing student use of AI, AI for school leaders, and cybersecurity.
The All Things Indiana strand will feature a variety of sessions across two days delivered by panels of experts and speakers. Breakout sessions will be offered on topics including the new ILEARN and high school diploma requirements, SEA 1 literacy changes, middle school graduation plans, and ESA/IEP/ISP/CSEP. This strand is ideal for school administrators, literacy coaches, lead teachers, and aspiring school leaders.
The Leadership of Learning strand will feature five sessions across two days delivered on topics including, but not limited to, instructional leadership and supervision, instructional and literacy coaching, literacy leadership, and cultivating teacher leaders. These sessions are ideal for school administrators, lead teachers, and aspiring school leaders.
The Organizational Leadership strand will feature five sessions across two days delivered on topics including, but not limited to, legal issues, resolving conflict, leadership and management, and building an effective team. This strand is ideal for school administrators, chief operating officers, chief finance officers, business managers, board/commission members, pastors, and aspiring school leaders.
The Workforce Development strand will feature five sessions across two days delivered on topics including, but not limited to, work based learning 101, middle school career exploration, intermediaries as workforce partners, and CSAs. This session is ideal for school administrators, lead teachers, and aspiring school leaders.
Keynote Speakers
Chike Aguh – Non-Public Schools That Can Meet the Future of Work
Chike Aguh (Chee-Kay Ah-Goo) is the first person in his entire family born in America, a Fulbright Scholar, educator, business leader, award winning non-profit CEO, and presidential appointee. A recognized authority on the future of work, economic opportunity, and innovation, Chike is committed to an economy that creates opportunity for all just like America did for him.
Chike currently serves as Senior Advisor at Harvard University’s Project On Workforce, Senior Fellow on Workforce at Northeastern University’s Burnes Center for Social Change, and Senior Advisor at the McChrystal Group.
Previously, Chike was appointed to serve as Chief Innovation Officer at the US Department of Labor, the first black person to do so. He led efforts to use data, emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, cybersecurity, etc.), and innovative practice to advance/protect American workers.
Chike has also worked as an education policy official and teacher in America’s largest school system; Fulbright Scholar in Asia; Director of Corporate Strategy and Performance Technologies at technology company EAB; CEO of a national nonprofit which helped connect 500,000 low-income Americans to affordable internet and digital skills, Founding Leader of the Community College Growth Engine Fund; and Director of Strategy and Future of Work Lead at the McChrystal Group, a business advisory firm founded by retired Gen. Stanley McChrystal.
Appointed by Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, Chike is Vice-Chair of the Maryland Higher Education Commission. He is founder of the Aguh Workforce Scholarship at Prince George’s Community College. We are excited to welcome Chike as our Thursday afternoon keynote speaker!
Kim Strobel – Remembering Your Why
Kim Strobel is a renowned motivational speaker with a global reach, inspiring schools, businesses, and organizations to prioritize happiness and strive for greater fulfillment in life. She is the author of Teach Happy: Small Steps to Big Joy, a book that acknowledges the hardness and heart of the teaching profession but also provides a clear path to reclaiming joy and happiness within and outside of this profession.
With her powerful presence and expertise, Kim acts as an influencer, consultant, and author, transforming the way institutions focus on well-being. By teaching individuals how to reclaim happiness, ignite their passion, and lead with purpose, Kim’s refreshing “real talk” approach allows her to connect authentically with audiences worldwide.
Drawing on her extensive 25-year education career as a former teacher and curriculum director, Kim has collaborated with educators at all levels to introduce innovative and inspiring practices in the classroom. Her efforts have resulted in increased academic achievement and the creation of positive school-wide environments. Through thought-provoking research, heartfelt stories, and actionable steps, Kim aims to inspire individuals to achieve life-changing results.
Recognizing the impact of her work, esteemed entities such as Google, State Departments of Education, and various schools, organizations, and corporations consistently seek Kim’s guidance to enhance their overall culture and performance. As a consultant, she assists these organizations in cultivating happiness and well-being habits that facilitate mindshifts for tangible results.

Hotel Information
Hotel rooms are available through the Renaissance Indianapolis North Hotel at a rate of $154/night plus 17% taxes and fees. Book your room(s) here or call 1.800.468.3571 by September 9, 2024. We are close to filling our room block at the Renaissance, but we have additional rooms at an adjacent property, the Residence Inn. The deadline for booking at the Residence Inn is September 16. Cancellation Policy
Registrations canceled by September 3, 2024 will receive a full refund. Registrations canceled by September 12, 2024 will receive a 50% refund. Registrations canceled after September 12, 2024 are not eligible for a refund. Cancellation requests must be sent via email to [email protected]. Refunds will not be processed until after the conference and will be issued via check. Any credit card processing fees incurred will not be refunded.
