Preparing for the Legislative Session

INPEA member schools can prepare for the legislative session by doing two things:

  1. Set two public policy goals – this can be as simple as inviting you elected officials to your school, writing letters to your legislators thanking them for school choice, etc. Complete our 2026 Legislative Planning Form to provide INPEA with updated contact information and legislative advocacy goals.
  2. Appoint a legislative liaison – this can be a staff member, parent, alum, or anyone who is interested in the legislative process and a skilled communicator.

  1. Make sure you are receiving our monthly newsletters, which contain content that can be copied and pasted into your school newsletters during the legislative session!
