It is important that all non-public school stakeholders be ready to challenge the negative narrative that is presented by school choice critics. To help you prepare for these conversations, INPEA has created this School Choice Myth Buster document.
Preparing for the Legislative Session
INPEA member schools can prepare for the legislative session by doing two things:
- Set two public policy goals – this can be as simple as inviting you elected officials to your school, writing letters to your legislators thanking them for school choice, etc. Use our 2024 Legislative Planning Worksheet to get you started.
- Appoint a legislative liaison – this can be a staff member, parent, alum, or anyone who is interested in the legislative process and a skilled communicator.
